什么是 PDF 拆分工具?
A PDF splitter takes pages out of a PDF document — either extracting a range of pages into a new file, or removing unwanted pages and keeping the rest. It is the counterpart to merging: where a merger staples documents together, a splitter lets you share only what is relevant. Need to send pages 4–7 of a 60-page report, pull one chapter out of an e-book, or strip the confidential appendix before forwarding a contract? That is a thirty-second job with a splitter.
Our splitter works entirely in your browser. The PDF is parsed locally, the pages you specify are copied into a brand-new document on your device, and the result downloads immediately — your file is never uploaded to a server. That matters because splitting is most often done on exactly the documents you least want on someone else's infrastructure: contracts, financial statements, medical records, and legal filings.
The page selection accepts flexible range syntax: type "1-3, 5, 8-10" to select pages 1, 2, 3, 5, 8, 9, and 10. In Extract mode those pages become the new PDF; in Remove mode they are deleted and everything else is kept. Pages are copied at the PDF object level, so text remains selectable, links keep working, and quality is identical to the original — nothing is re-rendered or recompressed.
使用场景
以下是人们每天使用 PDF 拆分工具 的最常见场景。
Sharing Part of a Report
Instead of sending a client or colleague the full 80-page document and telling them which pages matter, extract just the relevant section into a small, focused PDF. They get exactly what they need, and you avoid oversharing internal content.
Removing Confidential Pages
Strip pricing appendices, internal comments, or personal data pages from a document before forwarding it externally. Remove mode keeps the document intact minus the pages you specify. For covering content within a page, use the PDF Editor's blackout tool instead.
Splitting Scanned Batches
Office scanners often produce one long PDF containing several distinct documents. Extract each document's page range into its own file — run the tool once per document with different ranges — so each contract or invoice can be filed and named separately.
Course Readings and Chapters
Teachers and students can extract a single chapter or article from a large compiled PDF for a week's reading, keeping file sizes small enough to email or upload to a learning platform with attachment limits.
Fixing Assembly Mistakes
If a merged document ended up with a duplicate or blank page, remove just that page rather than re-assembling everything from the sources. Remove mode with a single page number is the fastest fix.
Preparing Submission Excerpts
Grant applications, court filings, and journal submissions often require specific page counts or excerpts. Extract precisely the permitted pages and stay within the rules without manual re-printing.
示例
Extract One Section
A 60-page report where only the financial summary matters: load the PDF, choose Extract, type the range, and download.
report.pdf (60 pages), extract 12-18 report-extracted.pdf — 7 pages Remove a Confidential Appendix
Delete the last five pages of a 30-page contract before sending it to an external party.
contract.pdf (30 pages), remove 26-30 contract-trimmed.pdf — 25 pages Pull Scattered Pages
Extract non-contiguous pages — the cover, the summary, and the conclusion — into one excerpt.
thesis.pdf, extract 1, 4-6, 92 thesis-extracted.pdf — 5 pages in order PDF 拆分工具 对比 iLovePDF Split

PDF 拆分工具 使用技巧
- Ranges can be combined freely: "1-3, 5, 8-10" selects seven pages. Spaces are optional.
- Extract mode answers "which pages do I want?"; Remove mode answers "which pages should go?" — pick whichever needs less typing.
- To split one long scan into several documents, run Extract once per document with each document's page range.
- Page numbers refer to position in the file (1 = first page), which may differ from printed page numbers in the document's footer.
- Extraction copies pages losslessly — text stays selectable and searchable in the new file.
常见问题解答
Is my PDF uploaded to a server?
No. The splitter runs entirely in your browser. The file is read into local memory, the selected pages are copied into a new PDF generated on your device, and the result downloads directly. No part of your document crosses the network — safe for contracts, medical records, and anything else sensitive.
What range syntax can I use?
Comma-separated pages and dash ranges: "5" is one page, "1-3" is pages 1 through 3, and "1-3, 5, 8-10" combines both. Duplicates and overlapping ranges are merged automatically, and the output pages always appear in ascending order. If a number exceeds the document's page count, you get a clear error rather than a wrong file.
What is the difference between Extract and Remove mode?
Extract creates a new PDF containing only the pages you list — extract 12-18 from a 60-page file and you get a 7-page document. Remove creates a new PDF with those pages deleted — remove 26-30 from a 30-page file and you get a 25-page document. Both modes leave your original file untouched; the result is always a new download.
Does splitting lose quality or break text selection?
No. Pages are copied at the PDF object level with their fonts, images, vector graphics, and links intact. Nothing is rasterized or recompressed, text remains selectable and searchable, and the extracted pages look identical to the original at any zoom level.
Can I split every page into a separate PDF at once?
The tool produces one output file per run, so a 10-page document becomes one extracted PDF rather than 10 single-page downloads (which browsers handle poorly). To isolate individual pages, run Extract for each page number — it takes a few seconds per page since the file is already loaded.
Does the original file get modified?
Never. The splitter reads your PDF and builds a completely new document from the selected pages. Your source file on disk is untouched, so you can run several different extractions from the same document — for example, splitting one scanned batch into three separate files.
Why can't I split a password-protected PDF?
Encrypted PDFs require their password to be read, and the tool will not bypass document security. If you have the password, open the file in your PDF viewer, save an unprotected copy (or use Print to PDF), and split that copy. If you do not have the password, the document owner has intentionally restricted it.
Is there a page or size limit?
No artificial limits. Because processing is local, capacity depends on your device's memory. Files with several hundred pages split quickly on a typical computer; very large scanned documents (hundreds of MB of images) may take a few seconds longer but still work.
