Rápidas, no llamativas

What runs where

The exceptions, by name

46 of the 53 tools never open a network connection at all — the work happens in the page you already have open. Seven can make a network request under the circumstances described below. This is every one of them, and exactly what it sends.

  • Currency converter A request for the day’s exchange rates. The amount you typed is not part of it — the conversion is done in the page after the rates arrive.
  • Crypto converter A request for current coin prices. As above, the amount stays in the page.
  • Domain checker The domain name you typed. There is no way to check availability without asking the registry.
  • Word counter — thesaurus lookup only The single word you look up. Counting, reading time, and every other statistic never leave the page; only pressing the thesaurus opens a connection.
  • QR generator — tracked codes only The destination URL, plus a scan record (time, coarse location, device type) each time someone scans the code. An ordinary QR code is drawn in the page and sends nothing.
  • PDF editor — choosing a font A request for the font file itself. Your document is never part of it and never leaves the page.
  • Image to text (OCR) — first use of a language A request for that language’s trained data, a few megabytes, cached by your browser afterwards. Recognition itself runs in the page via WebAssembly; your image is never transmitted.
How it is built

Choices you can check

  • Nothing is uploaded to be processed

46 of the 53 tools do their work in your browser. Close the tab and the data is gone — there is no copy on our side to delete, to leak, or to be asked for.

  • Third-party requests are named, not denied

The interface typefaces are served from our own domain rather than a font CDN. Three things do reach third parties, and pretending otherwise would be the easiest claim here to disprove: pages carrying ads load Google AdSense, the PDF editor fetches your chosen font from jsDelivr, and OCR downloads its language data from a public CDN. The table above says what each one sends.

  • Server features are named, not hidden

The AI assistant, the API, saved history and team workspaces need an account and a server, because they cannot work any other way. They are listed here rather than buried in a policy page.

  • Six languages

The interface is translated into German, English, Spanish, French, Chinese and Hindi. Machine-translated pages say so, on the page.

How this is paid for

Where the money comes from

Toolorah is currently free to use. We intend to support eligible public pages with advertising, and we never sell tool inputs or account data.

Nothing you put into a tool is sold or shared, and for 46 of them we never receive it in the first place. Paid subscriptions are not currently available. When billing launches, our policies will be updated with the payment provider and applicable terms.

Cómo llegamos hasta aquí

La versión corta

01
